Exmoor Heather Honey (340g)

A rich, thixotropic honey with a full heather intensity

Ready to Ship Featured

Harvested in August from hives placed directly on the high Exmoor heather moorland above 1,200ft. This is a thixotropic honey — jelly-like in the jar, it becomes runny when stirred.

Deep amber in colour, with a robust, slightly resinous flavour and a pleasantly bitter finish.

Exmoor Honey Farm

Raw, unfiltered honey harvested from wild Exmoor heathland

Dulverton, Somerset, Somerset

We keep over 80 hives across Exmoor National Park, from the heather moorland above Dunkery Beacon to the cider apple orchards of the Vale of Taunton Deane. Each location gives its honey a distinct character. All our honey is cold-extracted and minimally processed — never heat-treated, never ultra-filtered. What you get is honey as nature intended: rich in pollen, enzymes, and flavour. We also produce limited-run seasonal preserves using foraged and locally grown fruit.
